
Image of the week: Cyclone Bianca
Watching our Earth from space


This week’s image is of Cyclone Bianca off the west coast of Australia.
The image was captured by one of the Copernicus Sentinel-3 satellites on 23 February 2025.
Cyclone Bianca is the seventh tropical cyclone of Australia’s 2024-2025 cyclone season (November-April).
The cyclone developed well offshore of the western Australian coast and Christmas Island and at the time the image was captured it was not expected to impact the Australian mainland.
